We appreciate your support and interest in IVONNE, Inc. ("IVONNE").

As part of our mission to support the cosmetic goals of those we serve, IVONNE, Inc. dba ("IVONNE") uses social media tools to efficiently and effectively communicate with you by providing relevant, timely, and interesting content.

IVONNE's presence on platforms namely Instagram, Facebook, X, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Business, and others, allows us to connect and communicate with you in a dynamic environment. However, it's essential to set clear terms for this engagement.

By using our social media channels, you agree to the terms outlined below, all of which are subject to change without notice. It is up to the reader to revisit this policy from time to time and to remain apprised of its changes. Your engagement with our channels is also subject to all of IVONNE's policies and terms and conditions, including those set out in this social media policy.

As a Personal Care Service, IVONNE does not provide medical advice at all or provide cosmetic advice through social media. Our social media content is for illustrative purposes only. If you need help finding answers to cosmetic, product or service questions, please schedule a consultation or appointment. We are unable to address service or product-related matters via social media alone. If you have medical questions, please contact your primary physician or Telehealth Ontario at 1 866-797-0000. In case of emergency, call 911.

Posted comments may not originate from IVONNE and therefore do not necessarily represent the views of IVONNE, its partners, agents, employees, owners, providers, or suppliers.

Definitions

Social Media: For the purpose of this policy, "social media" refers to any network of websites, blogs, or applications where users participate in social networking. This includes, but is not limited to, platforms like Instagram, Facebook, X, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Google My Business.

Use: Use of our social media channels means any interaction with our content or profiles. If you view our account, page, feed, stories, reels, tweets, posts, videos, live streams, view our profiles, tag, mention, like, forward, or engage in any other manner with our social channels, then this policy applies to you.

Endorsement: An "endorsement" refers to any public statement, testimony, opinion, review, like, share, repost, or such other representation made by an individual, group, or entity that expresses approval, support, or preference for IVONNE, its products, services, or brand, or its suppliers. This can be conveyed through various means, including but not limited to, social media posts, comments, reviews, videos, stories, articles, and verbal statements. An endorsement can be explicit, such as directly recommending a service or product, or implicit, such as using a product in a public setting without overt commentary.

Personal Care Service: An establishment primarily engaged in providing personal care services, namely hair care and aesthetic services, hair replacement and scalp treatment services, massage services, diet counseling services, and ear piercing services.

Cosmetic: Any process or product that is used with the aim of improving a person’s physical appearance.

IVONNE is not responsible for clients or social media followers who make cosmetic decisions, including any treatment, service, or product purchases based on social media content alone. The choice to use any cosmetic product or procedure should not be based upon a single social media post by itself but instead result from long-term due diligence and the consultation of various authoritative resources. In addition, IVONNE is not responsible for any client, follower, or social media user who self-diagnoses or self-treats what could be an underlying medical condition or what could inspire any adverse medical or cosmetic condition or injury.

IVONNE is not responsible for any oversimplified interpretation or superficial understanding of cosmetic results in Social Media and makes no guarantees about any of its products or services. Should IVONNE’s receipt of payment in exchange for service or products from a client who incorrectly believes there to be a guarantee shall not place the burden of a guarantee on IVONNE.

Posted comments may not originate from IVONNE and therefore do not necessarily represent the views of IVONNE.

These guidelines are drafted to comply with applicable law and will not be applied in a manner that violates your freedom of expression rights under Section 2 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. While we welcome all viewpoints, IVONNE reserves the right but not the obligation to delete any comments or links posted as comments if they contain any of the following:

  • Hate speech, racial or religious intolerance
  • Profanity, obscenity or vulgarity
  • Nudity, pornography or sexually explicit material, directly or through the use of emojis or other characters
  • Defamation to a person, people, or entity
